''Chilo infuscatellus'', the Yellow top borer or Sugarcane shoot borer, is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Snellen in 1890. It is found in India, Myanmar, Tadzhikistan, Afghanistan, Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, the Philippines and on Java and Timor.〔(Chilo at funet )〕 The larvae feed on ''Avena sativa'', ''Cymbopogon winterianus'', ''Cynodon dactylon'', ''Cyperus rotundus'', ''Echinochloa colona'', ''Hordeum vulgare'', ''Oryza sativa'', ''Panicum'' species, ''Pennisetum glaucum'', ''Saccharum officinarum'', ''Sorghum bicolor'' and ''Zea mays''.
